Earlier this week, Brandy performed at the Best Buy Theater in New York City, where she proved that she is back and better than ever. New York Power 105.1's very own Vanessa Denis was on the scene to capture it all, including hanging out with the star backstage for an interview. Brandy dished about her new album, Diana Ross, and picking her nose in the car (yes, she admitted it!).

Brandy tells how promoting Two Eleven feels brand new.

I feel like a new artist. I have that hunger again, that inspiration. I’m dreaming again, I’m believing again –it’s just an incredible time for me. At one point I didn’t even think this was possible. 

On how she bumped into Diana Ross at the dentist office.

Yes, you know what’s so interesting? I ran into Ms. Ross at the dentist office. Just like two weeks ago. She saw me and I’m like Ms. Ross it’s me! She remembers me as a little girl, so she didn’t recognize me. She was like ‘you so grown now.’ So, she wanted to come see me perform at a club, but I was like Ms. Ross this club ain’t for you to see, we got to get you in a better setting. Hopefully, I will be able to work with her again because she’s an incredible actress, an incredible talent. She’s a legend.

She admits to picking her nose while driving:

You know, yeah, we probably have picked our nose while driving. We all have, I’m speaking for everybody in this room honey.
