Will Gunplay be forced to change his name after the Newtown, Connecticut massacre?

That’s the word according to AllHipHop.com, which reports that sources are saying that the climate may be “too hot" for him to maintain his already controversial moniker.

Word is that major outlets like Wal-Mart and Best Buy initially balked at carrying the MMG’s rapper’s albums, but were ultimately convinced by Def Jam. But with the Connecticut shootings raising concerns about gun violence, the label will now be facing a much tougher sell.
