Swizz Beatz isn't one to sit still for very long - he's just purchased an ownership stake in audio electronics company Monster.

Monster helped develop the Beats by Dre line before that partnership dissolved a year ago. And now Swizzy, who'll sit on the company's board will be involved in developing and marketing the Monster brand.

He says, "They built an empire, and my job will be to push the envelope," Monster CEO Noel Lee adds, "We need the talents and reach of Swizz to help bring these products to life in the eyes of the consumer.”
