Eazy-E's daughter, E.B. Wright, wants to set the record straight about her father's death. The "Godfather of Gangsta Rap" passed away in 1995 from complications from AIDS. However, Wright tells BET.com that many people "don't know the truth behind his death." Because of those misconceptions, Wright is producing a upcoming documentary about the rapper that will revolve around his untimely death.
"A Ruthless Scandal" - which is named after Eazy's label Ruthless Records - will give Wright the opportunity to "tell the story of exactly what happened" at the end of Eazy's life. The documentary will feature interviews with people in the rapper's inner circle such as former N.W.A. members, business partners, doctors and friends.
Wright says "everything that was involved" in his death will be on the table in the film. "A Ruthless Scandal" is set to be released sometime in 2014.
Last month Eazy-E was memorialized in another documentary, "Ruthless Memories." The doc focused on Eazy's life on the streets before he made it in the rap industry.
