The hip-hop world is reacting to the blasts that rocked Boston on Monday. Once the news went public artists such as French Montana, Snoop Dogg, Common and Diddy took to Twitter to send out their thoughts and prayers to the people of Boston.

Miami-based rapper Pitbull took a moment to let fans know that they "must enjoy every minute" of life.

Many of those who showed their love via the micro-blogging network also accompanied their posts with the hashtag "#prayforboston."
Meanwhile, Boston-based rapper Slaine - born George Carroll - posted a message on Facebook saying that his son was in the area when the explosions occurred. He says nobody in his family was injured. Carroll adds that his "thoughts and prayers" go out to everyone who has been affected by the explosions. He also urged people in the Boston area to get to a safe place.
