Widely regarded as the "Godfather of Hip-Hop" in the Tampa Bay area, DJ Sandman has been doing Hip-Hop for over seventeen years! Sandman has always kept his ear to the concrete and that's how stays in touch with the hottest sounds from the streets.
He has opened for the likes of The Roots, Wu-Tang Clan, Robin Thicke, Scarface, KRS-One, Black Moon, Smif N Wessun, Pitbull, De La Soul, T.I., Busta Rhymes, and many others. He's also been featured in The Source magazine! Everything from rapping, ripping up turntables at parties and being one of the first promoters to bring Hip-Hop shows to Tampa; DJ Sandman has done it all!
DJ Jimi-O found his talent in music while DJing house parties at the age of 16!
In his early 20's he broke into the club scene performing guest spots at various clubs in the Tampa Bay area. Eventually his talent became recognized and resident DJ spots were offered.
Following this accomplishment, DJ Jimi O focused his attention and effort to becoming a mixshow DJ for 95.7 The Beat. This opportunity opened many doors for further recognition. He's now a member of two national DJ associations, Bumsquad DJZ and Derrty DJZ and he continues to strive for the next big step in his career... can you say national recording artist DJ???
Shizm has been DJing since the age of 16. He received his first claim to fame in January of 2001, when he was the opening DJ for R Kelly's Super Bowl XXXV Party. This is also the year he graduated from F.S.U.
In October of 2003, Shizm became Seagram's Gin Featured DJ of The Month and went on to win the Seagram's Gin Live DJ Spin-off on October 12, 2003. In 2004, he flew out to Seattle to DJ for All Pro Wide Receiver Darrell Jackson's B-Day Bash and was given the key to the city.
In Summer 2007, Shizm made it to the semifinals of the Pepsi DJ Competition. (www.pepsidjdivision.com) In June of '08 he was the featured DJ on BET Rap City alongside Trina.
